TMD celebrates Rachel’s special birthday
We are delighted to wish Rachel Karn many happy returns on her 50th birthday. It’s a milestone birthday, and to help Rachel celebrate in style, Managing Director Sean McDonagh and Director Claire Paulus, presented her with a Ritz voucher on behalf of everyone at TMD.
As our Group Operations Officer, Rachel plays a key role within TMD and works tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of our business and the well-being of all our staff. She has excellent leadership skills and assumes her duties with care and consideration for every team member. She’s also one of two Mental First Aiders, which means she’s always on hand if employees wish to discuss any issue, large or small.
By way of background, Rachel has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years, holding positions within broking, loss adjusting, and also with an insurance provider, giving extensive knowledge and professional experience, particularly within the High Net Worth and Insurance sectors.
Committed to professional development, Rachel holds the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. She has also been awarded Chartered Manager status by the Chartered Management Institute, the highest accreditation that can be achieved in the management profession.
In addition, she was a Council member of the CII for Luton & Hertfordshire for over 4 years before becoming Deputy President, Communications Officer and Chartered Champion, and on 1st April 2023, assumed the role of President, which is an outstanding achievement and one of which we are all very proud.
As you may gather, Rachel is a vibrant member of our team and has shown exceptional commitment and dedication over the years, making a massive contribution to the overall success of TMD. We all wish her a very happy 50th birthday and hope the Ritz voucher ensures she enjoys this momentous occasion to the full. Party on, Rachel!
